the Role

The role of an Arctic Ranger is a highly engaging and rewarding opportunity. As an Arctic Ranger, you will be responsible for leading activities and ensuring health and safety within the Search for Santa tour.

Whilst this role offers a fantastic experience, it is important to recognise that, due to its nature, it can also be physically demanding and challenging at times. The position involves extended periods outdoors, making it essential to possess an understanding of how to care for yourself in an Arctic Climate. We are committed to sharing our expertise to ensure the experience remains warm, safe and enjoyable; however, your own vigilance and self-care are equally vital. By working together, we can provide a safe and memorable experience for all.

Responsibilities

The Arctic Ranger team have a wide range of responsibilities from transporting staff to and from various locations, driving snowmobiles, managing the distribution and collection of suits and boots to setting up and leading specific activity locations including lighting candles and fires, hot drink preparation and ensuring all props and equipment are well organised and ready for use.

We are looking for confident, hardworking individuals with a passion for the outdoors, capable of engaging large groups with a mix of enthusiasm and authority.
